Many people use these two types of washing interchangeably. However, they are very different and it is important that you know the one that is right for your home.
While both use a cleaning solution and pressurized water to scrub your house, the amount of force used is very different and for good reason.
When we work on a home that has vinyl siding, brick or concrete, we are able to be more aggressive with how high we dial up our machines because of how resilient the materials are. This is pressure washing.
However, when working or softer materials like aluminum siding, wood or anything painted, we don't want to damage the finish on the structure, so we use much less pressure.
